En estos tiempos extraños, en que los integristas magrebÃes queman los citroen de los ex-combatientes del Mayo del 68 reconvertidos en funcionarios a punto de jubilarse por las calles de ParÃs, la gauche ya no es divine y ya no lee Libération. El mercado es inexorable con todos, incluidos aquellos que no creen en él y le echan la culpa de todos los males. Adiós al sueño de Sartre y de July; el capitalismo acabará con él. ¿El capitalismo? No: lo que pasa es que la gauche ya no es divine; no quiere seguir soñando ese sueño rancio y elitista de los viejos totalitarios. Al fin y al cabo, el muro ya cayó en Oriente; no necesita guardianes en Occidente.
